A new class of 13 local citizens passed their final CERT exam exercise qualifying them to step forward in times of emergency, lending a hand to help their neighbors. A rainy Sunday afternoon provided a perfect background for the test as disasters seldom happen when the sun shines!
The Emergency Volunteer Corps of Nehalem Bay recently conducted a class covering the content from its earlier YR101 and 102 classes. This class served as a refresher for those who have taken both 101 and 102, but was opened to those who have not taken either 101 or 102.
Watch for additional classes after the first of the year.
